  • Dantherm Group divests residential ventilation business

Dantherm Group has signed an agreement to divest the residential ventilation business to Swegon Group AB as part of our Strategy towards 2030 and sharpening our product offering within core technologies.

The transaction includes the development, manufacturing, and sales of air handling units for residential applications. The Dantherm portfolio has a strong market position in Denmark, with significant international sales, creating opportunities for continued home market and export growth.

“For all our current Dantherm customers the change will be minimal - we will still offer our great products and service through the same organisation,” says Tom Bendixen, head of the Dantherm Residential Ventilation Sales team.

“Divesting the residential business is part of streamlining our business and technology portfolio, allowing focus and leading to a clear profile. We are confident that with Swegon’s wide international presence and expertise within indoor climate, the business will continue to develop and deliver long-term value to our customers both in Denmark and internationally,” says Oliver Zimmerman, CEO of Dantherm Group.

“The residential business is a key market segment for us at Swegon, and the addition of the highly esteemed Dantherm residential portfolio is a major milestone for our long-term strategy. It complements our existing product range and allows us to serve our customers with an even stronger and broader offering,” says Eva Karlsson, CEO of Swegon Group.

The Dantherm residential business will continue to operate out of Skive, Denmark.
