Dantherm AC 15000 – air-conditioner
Powerful cooling for demanding environments
The AC 15000 is a mobile air conditioner with split cooling circuits and it is designed for demanding environments. It delivers up to 18 kW of cooling capacity and operates in outdoor temperatures up to 47°C as standard, and up to 50°C under specified conditions.
It does not require installation by a refrigeration technician and is very easy to use. This allows rapid deployment in critical situations. The EC fan automatically slows down when approaching the set temperature, thereby reducing both energy consumption and noise.

Got heat problems?
Across industries, many organisations face situations where temperatures rise beyond what people, products or equipment can tolerate. Fixed cooling systems are not always available, not always allowed, not viable, or cannot respond fast enough.
The impact can be immediate:
- Warehouses and production areas overheat during long shifts or when storing heat‑sensitive materials. Even brief temperature spikes can spoil stock or slow operations.
- Server rooms – and temporary setups such as event-based or multi-room installations –can rise in temperature within minutes during maintenance or if a fixed system struggles or fails.
- Food handling and distribution must stay below defined limits to avoid spoilage, comply with regulations, and maintain a flexible cooling solution across the full cold chain.
- Offices, shops, guest spaces, and historic buildings under preservation orders, need quiet, compact cooling where permanent systems are restricted.
- Hotels, restaurants, events, tents and temporary structures require fast, movable cooling that works anywhere.
Here is the solution!
Powerful cooling for demanding environments
The mobile AC 7000 and AC 15000 air conditioners are built for exactly these moments — delivering reliable, high‑capacity cooling that can be deployed quickly, placed flexibly and used in demanding or temporary environments.
Both units are true portable split systems preventing potentially contaminated air being blown into the building. No specialist installation is required. Quick-connect, lockable hose couplings allow for fast setup, even by non-technical personnel.
Other key mobility features include:
- Transport handles and heavy-duty wheels
- Forklift handling capability
- Standard 10 m hose length, extendable up to 30 m
- Up to 8 m vertical separation between units
The robust metal construction supports use in industrial and rental environments. Cleanable inlet air filters allow operation in dusty areas such as factories and workshops.
Bringing comfort in many situations
Heat waves and peak loads
- Supports primary cooling systems during extreme temperatures
- Provides additional capacity when central systems reach their limits
- Suitable where permanent installation is not desired/possible
System failure or maintenance
- Temporary cooling during breakdown of the main system
- Immediate response to avoid operational downtime
Temporary buildings and structures
- Cooling for marquees, site offices and event spaces
- Ideal where permanent systems are not viable
Minimal noise and maximum energy efficiency
Both air conditioners use EC fan technology with automatic speed control. The indoor unit adjusts fan speed based on the difference between the set temperature and the actual room temperature. This reduces energy consumption and prevents unnecessary noise. It maintains a stable and comfortable indoor climate. The outdoor unit also adjusts fan speed according to ambient temperature. This supports efficient and stable operation in changing weather conditions.
Reliable operation in all seasons and real peak situations
To ensure correct operation at both low and high outdoor temperatures, the outdoor fan includes intelligent speed control to protect the refrigeration circuit in cold weather. Without this function, the system could over-condense in winter. This may lead to compressor reliability issues and nuisance tripping. The AC 7000 can operate in outdoor temperatures from -5°C to 43°C, the AC 15000 from -5°C to 47°C . This makes them suitable for demanding environments and year-round use.
Remote control, compliance and easy installation
The AC 7000 and AC 15000 include a comprehensive status reporting system. This enables fast diagnostics and simplifies maintenance. The units comply with F-Gas Regulation requirements and use environmentally friendly refrigerants. This supports long-term regulatory compliance and helps manage future costs. Both models can be controlled and monitored remotely via a mobile app. Multiple units can be managed at the same time. Installation is straightforward thanks to quick-connect cooling line connectors and a robust metal construction. No specialist training is required to put the units into operation.
App control - the Dantherm Control App
The AC 7000 and AC 15000 units can be operated using the free Dantherm Control App. The app provides simple and reliable control of the air conditioners from anywhere via bluetooth or cloud server.
Key features include:
- Bluetooth control for direct connection to your unit
- Remote control via cloud server after user registration
- Control of multiple units at the same time
- Temperature adjustment and fan speed selection
- Timer function for automatic start and stop
- Weekly plan setup for scheduled operation
The same app and user account can be used for both the AC7000 and the AC15000, providing a consistent and convenient user experience across products.
How the units work
The AC 7000 and AC 15000 absorb the heat into a refrigerant cooling system. From there, the heat is transferred to the self-containing chilled water/glycol system. It is then pumped through to the outdoor unit where the water is cooled and the heat dissipates.
The indoor unit is connected to the outdoor unit via two quick-connect, self-sealing flexible hoses. These hoses are supplied in 10m lengths and can be connected to a maximum length of 30m.
The outdoor unit of the AC 15000 is equipped with two powerful fans. This allows it to reach high operating temperatures and provides redundancy, which is synonymous with reliability.
